Which do you prefer, liquid foundation or Bare Essentials?

I’ve just started getting into makeup when my really good friend told me about this type of makeup called Bare Essentials. I like it a lot but it doesn’t stay on as well as I would like it too. I’ve been told that if I put on a primer or even just lotion first that it will help it to stay longer so I tried putting on lotion first and that helped a little but not much.

I’ve never even tried liquid foundation and that is pretty much all I ever hear about people using. Does it stay on better than Bare Essentials because it’s a liquid and not a powder?

If anyone could please help answer any of these questions I would really appreciate it!

- Which is better, liquid foundation or Bare Essentials?
- Is there anything you can use for either Bare Essentials/liquid foundation to make it last longer?
- What are some secrets or tricks to make your makeup last for a long time or what is a good brand of makeup that stays on really well?

bad experiences with bare essentials make up?

I was wearing bare essentials for a couple months and was very very happy with it but now im starting to get rashes all over my face. I’m not using anything new so I dont know what exactly is causing the rashes but they go away if i stop wearing makeup for a couple days and keep coming back so i think it is the coverup. I hate to switch makeup because the color is perfect for my skin and it looks so natural has anyone else has bad experiences with bare essentials?

okay before the school year started i went on a shopping spree and got makeup.
my best friend and i got our faces done at bare essentials (bare minerals makeup) and bought stuff there….

i got :
foundation (fairly light)
mineral veil (faily light)
blush (giddy pink)
shadow (hyacinth)
liner(sugar plum
gloss (wild honey)

and i have all of the brushes that go with them.

I WANT TO KNOW OTHER PEOPLES OPINION ON BARE MINERALS MAKEUP AND IF THEY THINK ITS WORTHWHILE THANKS!!!!
